About the event

Viticulture , in recent years, has faced important challenges . The ongoing climate change has determined new scenarios; increase in extreme climatic phenomena, virulence of fungal diseases, virosis, phytoplasmas, periods of prolonged drought. All aspects that are difficult to address with traditional agricultural techniques. In particular, the winemakers most inclined to conscious environmental sensitivity are called to an epochal challenge.

The search for greater "naturalness" in the vineyard by first introducing organic management and then combining the latter with biodynamic practices is no longer sufficient for a "new viticulture" which increasingly looks not only at the vineyard as a body in itself, but in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment.

With this seminar we would like to start a debate on these issues with the community of producers and visitors of Back to the Wine, not to give certain answers but to ask questions and possible solutions for a bio-sustainabl…
